Martin Luther’s speech is regarded as one of the strongest speeches not only in the history of America, but in the whole world. While Martin Luther used a number talk cards during his speech, he applies the motivator card more than any other during his speech. His speech basically focuses on how Americans of all ethnicities could be treated in an equal manner. In particular, he stated that white as well as black men should be guaranteed the rights to pursuit of happiness, liberty, and life. Indeed, his speech came at a time when African Americans were discriminated on numerous levels by the dominant white population and as such, he saw the need to sensitize the population on the wrongness of the situation. The best means to achieve this was to use the motivator card.
